But HOW do we unleash the power in our lives? This 6 session teaching series will unveil to you more of the wonderful love that God, our Father, has for you, His son or daughter. NIV 1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. Do you want to understand the love of God--to really get it? Not to just give it a passing thought, like, "Yes, how nice of the Lord Jesus to have done that...what's for dinner?" But to truly realize that it is not some fairy tale, and have the fibers of your being lit up by the knowledge of what The Father did, and what the Lord Jesus did for you. Part of our grasping what He did is knowing that the Lord Jesus had a choice. He could have said, "No." Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
