When you confessed Jesus as lord in your life, and you believed that God had raised him from the dead you were saved. There is so much in that one word, saved, that it could take hundreds of pages to really describe it all. At that moment you were made whole--mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You and I were once Satan's property. He had the lordship over us--mentally, physically, and spiritually. That's why he could inflict disease upon us, and mental problems like depression, confusion, and fears. He owned us spiritually, too, so we were destined for eternal death. But God rescued us, he delivered us from the all the power of evil.

Colossians 1:13
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

God rescued you from Satan's power. So what if you don't feel delivered? It doesn't say this works only if you feel like it. It says God did it! Just like when you confessed Jesus as lord in your life, you didn't wait until you felt like he was lord, you just said it. You simply agreed with God. He said, "Jesus is lord." You said, "Jesus is lord." The same thing applies here, too. God said you're delivered, so you simply agree. Say, "I am delivered from Satan's power!" Jesus Christ also redeemed you from the curse of the law.

Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Have you ever read the curse of the law? It included every nasty thing you could ever imagine--like sicknesses, blindness, insanity, awful diseases, and the like. I could sum it up by saying that it is pretty much anything you would not want. Well, Jesus became a curse for you and me. He bore that curse. So, now are you cursed? Absolutely not!

2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

God made Jesus sin for you and me, and now the result is that God transferred all the Christ is into you and me. Now we are the righteousness of God in him. Praise God! I like to say that Jesus took what we deserved, and he gave us what he deserved. That is a really good deal if you ask me. And it had nothing to do with our innate, human goodness. It was God's goodness and mercy, and love that caused this transfer to take place.

Ephesians 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Now you are holy--you are set aside for the One, True God--you belong to Him. Get your mind off of your own inadequacies and on to what God gave you. You are wholly, wholly holy--not because of your work, but because of His great love!
Amen!
